After a 2-day jury trial where the plaintiff was seeking $250,000 in lost profits from repossessed luxury vehicles, a Florida Court entered a directed defense judgment for WWHGD client Exotic Car Leasing, LLC.

WWHGD client was sued for breach of contract and money owed by a supplier, who terminated its relationship with our client and retained $876,106 of the client's property.

WWHGD filed counterclaims for conversion.  The federal court awarded our client $345,508 in offsetting damages for recoupment.

A former supplier sued our client, who has sourced and delivered premium value-added packaging for a variety of business torts.

The Federal Court granted the motion dismissing all claims, ruling that exercising jurisdiction over our client in Florida would violate the Due Process Clause of the Constitution.

WWHGD brought suit on behalf of our client, alleging that it was improperly terminated from a construction project and that it was due its contract balance. A counter-suit was filed, claiming our client breached the contract. After a four-day trial, our client was vindicated and the jury awarded them every penny of their claim, while denying the counterclaim in its entirety.

The Federal District Court in the Northern District of Georgia granted both motions and found that our client successfully demonstrated that there was insufficient evidence that any chemical in the aerosol paint was carcinogenic or otherwise caused the plaintiff’s leukemia.  Bill Buhay  of WWHGD represented the successful aerosol paint manufacturer.

Defendant contracted with our client to represent her before the IRS and to reduce her debt.  She also proposed a Bonus Agreement, offering a significant bonus if her tax debt was reduced to less than $30,000 within three months.  Our client satisfied the terms of the Bonus Agreement  and Defendant refused to pay.  The jury awarded 100% of the claimed bonus after deliberating for 20 minutes.

The owner filed suit against the general contractor client claiming several million dollars in damages related to work on the project performed by the general contractor and its subcontractors. After several years of litigation, WWHGD successfully defended the general contractor from the claims by the owner and was successful in obtaining a settlement of more than $2.5 million from the owner as a result of the termination. WWHGD is continuing to litigate claims with the subcontractors.
