WWHGD Client Awarded $200K in a Two Day Section 1983 Civil Rights Trial.
WWHGD’s trial team obtained a jury verdict in a Section 1983 civil rights case in the Northern District of Florida. WWHGD attorneys answered a call for pro bono counsel from Honorable Robert L. Hinkle to represent Tullis, an inmate at a Florida correctional facility, who had been representing himself pro se for several years in a federal civil rights lawsuit.
After 2 days of trial, a jury in the Northern District of Florida entered a verdict in Tullis’ favor awarding $200,000 in compensatory damages. For WWHGD’s pro bono client, it was a long-awaited moment of vindication.
