The State Court of Clayton County granted summary judgment in favor of the firm’s client in a wrongful death action.

A Florida trial court granted summary judgment after determining, as a matter of law, that “no reasonable jury could return a verdict in favor of [Plaintiffs’ decedent]."

After a 2-day jury trial where the plaintiff was seeking $250,000 in lost profits from repossessed luxury vehicles, a Florida Court entered a directed defense judgment for WWHGD client Exotic Car Leasing, LLC.

WWHGD defeated class certification on behalf of Fortune 500 client.  Tens of thousands of putative class members had claimed violations and misconduct over span of 50 years.  "Virtually identical" cases had been certified including one with a $100 million settlement.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals reaffirmed earlier decision that Berkeley's ban on new building gas infrastructure violates federal law.

WWHGD joins in this victory with Reichman Jorgensen Lehman and Feldberg.

In a case against a precious metals dealer, after oral argument, and in a significant procedural victory,  the 11th Circuit affirmed the District Court's dismissal for lack of jurisdiction on behalf of our client.

Appellate court affirmed and agreed with WWHGD’s position that the FAA preempted the Plaintiff's state law claims, the arbitration agreement was valid and enforceable, and the putative class claims were subject to dismissal under the terms of the warranty. 

WWHGD attorneys obtained a dismissal on behalf of a national hotel chain in a case alleging sex trafficking.

WWHGD secured a summary judgment for its community association client in a case alledging wrongful death.

WWHGD and Reichman Jorgensen secure a precedent-setting victory on behalf of their client, California Restaurant Association.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled unanimously that Berkeley's ban on natural gas infrastructure - in new buildings - violates federal law. 

Summary judgment obtained for a national hotel company in a premises liability/wrongful death case where the Plaintiff contended that Decedent was a victim of human trafficking. 

The Georgia Court of Appeals reversed Trial Court in favor of WWHGD client. 

WWHGD secured the reversal of a spoliation of evidence ruling entered by a trial court in DeKalb County in two catastrophic injury matters consolidated for purposes of discovery.

The Court granted our client’s motion to dismiss in a case involving the Illinois biometrics statue. 

They denied the motion to amend, ending the litigation before any discovery.  And our client did not incur any obligation for payment to Plaintiff.

Final summary judgment in favor of client AEG Presents, a leading live-entertainment company.

The Court agreed with all of WWHGD’s arguments and entered summary judgment in favor of both Defendants on all of Plaintiff’s claims. 

CFBHN, a non-profit, publicly-funded corporation, was named as a defendant in a wrongful death action arising from a murder of a Georgia resident.

After discovery, briefings and multiple hearings, the trial court granted CFBHN’s Motion to Dismiss.

Summary Judgment granted against contractor.

WWHGD argued, on behalf of its residential real estate developer client, that defendants' affirmative claims were barred because it did not have the proper Municipal and Utilities (MU) sub-classification to its general contractor’s license.

WWHGD secures a $1.06 million arbitration award in a fraud / misrepresentation case prosecuted against a precious metals broker and its owner in California.

A design-builder brought claims of $60M+ against a WWHGD client. After 3+ years, the arbitration panel granted summary judgment to firm's client on all but one minor claim, which was later voluntarily dismissed. 

WWHGD’s client was sued for trademark infringement based on inadvertent, minimal use of the claimant’s trademark post licensing agreement expiration.

Despite settlement efforts, the claimant insisted on an arbitration which issued a unanimous denial all of the their claims, in favor of our client.

The trial court granted complete summary judgment for WWHGD's client, in a case involving a sexual assault of a child and alleging negligent hiring and training claims.
