The Second District Court of Appeals affirms WWHGD Summary Judgment in $80M Catastrophic Injury Case

The Facts: Plaintiff filed an $80M negligence action against WWHGD's client for serious injuries sustained at his employer's oil refinery. Plaintiff alleged they owed him a duty, as a third-party beneficiary of the services agreement, to safely maintain and timely respond to requests to clear the drainpipe at issue and, further, that the companies' failure to clear the pipe caused the condition that led to his injury. 

Case Results: Summary Judgment affirmed.
