Johnny Friedman Selected: Fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America
Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial is pleased to announce that Partner Jonathan R. Friedman was recently named a Fellow of The Litigation Counsel of America (“LCA”), an invitation-only national trial lawyer honorary society limited to 3,500 Fellows.
“I am honored and proud to join such a distinguished society of lawyers,” says Friedman. “The LCA represents the best in American law, and I look forward to being a very active Fellow.”
The LCA selects Fellows based upon “effectiveness and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation.” The society is composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. The LCA’s purpose is to recognize deserving, experienced and highly qualified trial and appellate lawyers; to provide an outlet for scholarly authorship of legal articles on trial and litigation practice; to promote superior advocacy and ethical standards in the practice of law; to assist in community involvement by its membership; and to advance a superior judiciary by taking relevant positions on issues or legislation affecting American litigation processes.
Recognized by Atlanta Magazine and Law & Politics as a “Rising Star,” Friedman focuses his practice on commercial litigation, complex tort litigation and product liability. He is an honor graduate of Georgetown University Law Center and a frequent author and lecturer on evidentiary issues, trial practice and the law.
