WWHGD Promotes 5 Attorneys to Partnership for 2017
ATLANTA (January 30, 2017) --- Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn and Dial is proud to announce it has promoted five attorneys to its partnership: Alan Holcomb, Matt Kramer, Shane O’Neill, Kate Spinelli and Josh Wood.
Alan Holcomb focuses his litigation practice in the areas of mass torts, product liability and commercial disputes. His practice takes him nationwide, including California, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Missouri, New York and Texas. He currently serves as national trial and coordinating counsel for a product manufacturer in cases involving allegations that exposure to the manufacturer’s product caused irreversible lung disease in hundreds of workers and consumers, which received national media attention. He has consistently been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine for his accomplishments in Product Liability and Class Action / Mass Torts. Alan received his B.A. degree from the University of Georgia and his J.D. degree from Emory University School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in California, Georgia and Mississippi.
Matt Kramer is a real estate and transactional attorney with a focus on distressed assets, foreclosures, out-of-court workouts, and corporate bankruptcies. Matt has represented an array of parties, ranging from real estate lenders and developers, to bondholders and creditors’ committees. Matt also counsels startups and established entities in corporate matters. He received his B.A. from Binghamton University, graduating summa cum laude, and his J.D. from New York University School of Law.
Shane O’Neill focuses his practice in the areas of commercial, complex tort, product liability, premises liability and transportation litigation. He represents product manufacturers, trucking companies, software development companies and commercial property owners in a wide-variety of cases across the country. He recently successfully served as trial counsel for one of the world’s largest global shipping and logistics company in a $25 million suit. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College, Shane went on to graduate cum laude from Suffolk University School of Law where he was a Balfour Scholarship Recipient.
Kate Spinelli specializes her practice in complex civil defense litigation, including wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, products liability, premises liability and professional liability. She has litigated for clients in several states throughout the United States. Kate’s clients include Fortune 500 companies who entrust her with their high-stakes litigation cases. She received her B.A. from Boston College and her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
Josh Wood practices in wrongful death, catastrophic injury, mass torts, product liability, premises liability, transportation, commercial and construction litigation. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Alabama State Bar, and has represented both corporations and individuals nationwide. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of Civil Litigation. Josh is a member of the Joseph Henry Lumpkin American Inn of Court. He received both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Georgia, graduating law school magna cum laude and Order of the Coif.
WWHGD also announces the promotion of Harold Lang to Member of the firm.
