WWHGD Announces 2023 Partner and Member Class

Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial is pleased to announce the election of Wendell B. Franklin and M. Dean “Boo” Norris to the firm's full equity partnership. Additionally, attorneys Marjan Hajimirzaee, and Ethan A. Wilkinson are promoted to equity members of the firm. All promotions were effective January 1, 2023.

Wendell Franklin’s practice primarily focuses on complex civil litigation, with an emphasis on catastrophic injury, premises liability, and business litigation defense. He also serves as the firm’s Associate General Counsel. An Atlanta native, Wendell displayed his strong sense of honor and duty to our Nation through his service as an Intelligence Analyst in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Morehouse College, earned his Juris Doctorate from the Georgia State University College of Law, and obtained a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre from The Pennsylvania State University.

Norris has an extensive litigation background in a variety of areas. His practice includes defending both large and small businesses against claims involving catastrophic injury, premises liability, automotive/trucking accidents, and contract disputes. He has represented both small businesses and Fortune 500 clients in motion, trial, and appellate practice in both federal and state courts. He completed his undergraduate studies at University of Georgia, attained a Master of Education from Augusta State University, and earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Memphis School of Law.

Marjan Hajimirzaee has extensive civil litigation experience in wide-ranging types of disputes. Admitted to practice in both California and Nevada, she represents a broad range of clients in cases involving serious injury and wrongful death. Marjan completed her undergraduate studies at University of California, Los Angeles and earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of California Davis School of Law.

Ethan Wilkinson has represented individuals and businesses in a variety of matters. He predominately works in the construction industry, representing general contractors, subcontractors, owners, and other parties on contract issues and construction claims, including a focus on evaluating his clients' risks and litigation exposure and counseling them on how to strengthen their position. In addition to his construction work, Ethan also represents clients on employment-related issues, including in litigation, on professional liability and products liability cases, and on premises liability cases. Ethan completed his undergraduate studies at Birmingham-Southern College and earned his Juris Doctorate from The University of Alabama School of Law.
