Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial Elects New Partners and Members

Atlanta, January 10, 2021 - Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial is pleased to announce the election of Colby Balkenbush, Aaron Cohn,  Jonathan Head, Alec Heydemann, Anna Idelevich and Ron Schirtzer to the firm's partnership. Additionally, attorneys Ryan Gormley, Daniela LaBounty and Brittany Llewellyn have been promoted to members of the firm. All promotions were effective January 1, 2021.

Balkenbush guides clients through complex civil litigation in both state and federal courts involving breach of contract actions, civil fraud, property and construction disputes, and surety related litigation involving performance bonds. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and his law degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law, where he served as article editor for the Nevada Law Journal.

Cohn counsels clients on lending and business disputes, professional negligence, construction litigation and catastrophic injuries. He has successfully tried and arbitrated disputes to verdict and award. Cohn earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley, his graduate degree from the London School of Economics and his law degree from the George Washington University School of Law. 

Head is a trial lawyer who advises clients in the construction and manufacturing industries. By leveraging his experience as an in-house counsel for a large general contractor, Head seeks to provide full service within the core operations of those industries. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law. 

Heydemann counsels clients on a wide range of complex civil litigation including high-profile matters ranging from class actions, commercial litigation, products liability, professional liability, catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims and insurance coverage. Heydemann earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law.

Idelevich's practice is devoted to complex civil litigation with an emphasis on catastrophic injury, mass-tort, environmental law and toxic tort, transportation, product liability, premises liability, nursing home and long-term are litigation. Idelevich earned her undergraduate degree from Georgia Southern University and her law degree from the Emory University School of Law. 

Schirtzer is a trial lawyer with diverse experience in complex commercial litigation matters. He represents clients and tries cases across a broad range of practice areas, and his experience includes class action defense in employment litigation, catastrophic personal injury defense, consumer claims, insurance coverage claims and product liability claims. Schirtzer earned his undergraduate degree from Vassar College and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. 

Gormley's practice focuses on complex civil litigation and appeals. He represents both plaintiffs and defendants across a broad array of matters, including fraud, breach of contract, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, bad faith, and products liability actions, among others. Gormley earned his undergraduate degree from Penn State University and his law degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law. 

LaBounty guides clients through complex civil litigation with an emphasis on catastrophic injury, mass tort, product liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation. LaBounty earned her undergraduate degree from the University of San Francisco and her law degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was special assignments editor for the Nevada Law Journal

Llewellyn advises clients in commercial and civil litigation, with an emphasis on products liability, catastrophic injury, premises liability and medical malpractice. Llewellyn earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and her law degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law, where she was symposium editor for the Nevada Law Journal.
