WWHGD Welcomes Four New Associates

WWHGD is pleased to announce the addition of four new associates – each who joined us in September 2023. We welcome Joseph Cox, Chris Garten, Anne Rodgers, and Diego Rosette.

Joseph Cox  (Florida Gulf Coast University, B.A., cum laude; Michigan State University College of Law, J.D., summa cum laude; University of Arizona, School of Government & Public Policy, Ph.D.) Before joining the firm in our Orlando office, Joseph practiced in Colorado, handling a wide range of insurance defense cases. He then attended the University of Arizona from which he obtained his Ph.D. in international relations. Joseph is the author of numerous published articles, and he brings his extensive legal and academic background in research, writing, and speaking skills to the firm’s Insurance Coverage Practice Group.

Joining the firm in our Atlanta office, Chris Garten (Florida State University, B.A.; Georgia State University, J. Mack Robinson College of Business, M.S., summa cum laude; Georgia State University College of Law, J.D., magna cum laude) has a diverse practice focused on complex civil litigation including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking accidents, and commercial litigation. While in law school, Chris was an active member of GSU’s Moot Court team, serving as an executive board member during his third year.

Anne Rodgers (Washington and Lee University, B.A., magna cum laude; Washington and Lee University School of Law, J.D.).  Anne joins us in our Atlanta office, where her practice centers on matters relating to premises liability, negligent security, and catastrophic injury. Before joining Weinberg Wheeler, Anne spent two summers as a Summer Associate at the firm, expanding her understanding of the practice of law and clients’ needs and strengthening her ability to anticipate those needs, problem-solve, and negotiate in favor of her clients.

Joining the firm in our Miami office, Diego Rosette (Columbia University, B.A.; University of Miami School of Law, J.D., cum laude) centers his practice primarily on civil and commercial litigation matters, including catastrophic injury, commercial trucking accidents, premises liability, and product defect claims. Diego is a native of Mexico City and is fluent in Spanish. Before law school, he worked in politics as a consultant, speechwriter, and grassroots organizer.
