ATLANTA (February 9, 2018) --- In an article published on February 9, 2018, in the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Weinberg, Wheeler, Hudgins, Gunn & Dial partner Bill Buhay discusses Gov. Nathan Deal’s push for a constitutional amendment that would create a statewide business court in Georgia. Buhay explains that the new court would help streamline the processing of business cases and that business court judges would have to have significant experience in business litigation. “A regular superior or state court judge often has a background as a criminal lawyer or divorce lawyer,” Buhay said. “Focusing on a complex business dispute involves a learning curve.”
