Chris Garten focuses his practice on complex civil litigation, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, trucking accidents, premises liability, products liability, and commercial litigation.
Chris employs a systematic approach when addressing his clients’ needs. He gathers relevant information to fully comprehend their position and objectives and then formulates a strategic, step-by-step plan to lead his clients toward favorable outcomes.
Chris received his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, his J.D., magna cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law, and his M.S. in Health Administration, summa cum laude, from Georgia State University J. Mack Robinson College of Business. While in law school, Chris was an active member of GSU’s Moot Court team, serving as an executive board member during his third year.
In his free time, Chris enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends.

Representative Experience
- As second chair trial counsel, obtained a defense judgment in the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Georgia in a four-week FTC action trial alleging violations of the FTC Act, ROSCA, and the Telemarketing Act.
- Obtained summary judgment for a national construction company in a wrongful death action.
- Obtained summary judgment for a national pharmacy chain in a premises liability action.
