Overview

Aimee Adams has over 12 years of extensive legal experience in Florida. Most recently, she served as General Counsel for an expanding chain of family entertainment centers, where she expertly handled a wide range of legal matters. These included personal injury and property claims, litigation, employment disputes, contract negotiation and drafting, vendor management, and construction contracts across the company’s eight locations in Florida, Georgia, Texas, and Arizona.

Before her role as General Counsel, Aimee spent the majority of her legal career at a nationally recognized trial firm, renowned for its large product liability practice. During her time there, she managed cases from inception through trial, including product liability, motor vehicle accidents, negligent security, and premises liability matters.

Aimee’s robust litigation background, coupled with her hands-on experience in corporate counsel, has given her a deep understanding of complex legal challenges, making her an exceptional addition to the WWHGD team. Her strategic approach, business acumen, and trial experience will be invaluable assets to the firm’s clients.

Outside of her legal career, Aimee enjoys spending time with her husband, distance running, and traveling.

Representative Experience

  • Successfully defended multiple motor vehicle manufacturers before the Florida New Motor Vehicle Arbitration Board in numerous proceedings.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a golf cart designer and manufacturer in a products liability case alleging defects in design and manufacture.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a corporation in a negligent retention case which alleged the corporation was liable because the corporation negligently retained a certain trucking company to transport its goods.
  • In a products liability action alleging a motorcycle was defectively designed, was involved in the striking of all of the plaintiff’s liability experts, and obtained summary judgment in favor of the motorcycle manufacturer.
  • Successfully obtained a dismissal with prejudice at the pleading stage on behalf of a designer and manufacturer of HVAC systems in a negligence action alleging certain tiny homes were installed with improper or ineffective HVAC systems.
  • Obtained summary judgment on behalf of a manufacturer on its breach of contractual indemnification claim and recovered the fees and costs the manufacturer had been forced to incur prior to the granting of summary judgment.
  • Obtained dismissal of a negligence action alleging food poisoning after proceeding with a motion to dismiss for fraud on the court.
