Her practice focuses on the representation of carriers in coverage litigation, including claims alleging extra-contractual liability, mediation, claims advice and counseling. Representative Experience
- Regularly represents one of the world’s largest insurance companies in construction defect liability coverage disputes under commercial general liability policies and umbrella/excess insurance policies.
- Has successfully handled and resolved innumerable coverage disputes under motor carrier liability, commercial auto, truckers liability, and non-trucking liability policies and associated priority and attachment issues arising out of catastrophic trucking liability matters.
- Participated in defense of a multimillion dollar condominium conversion defect coverage lawsuit in Florida filed against multiple carriers.
- Participated in defense of insurer in litigation arising out of application of aircraft products exclusion where insured’s component product required retrofit of commercial aircraft.
- Participated in defense of insurer in companion federal and territorial coverage actions in Puerto Rico arising out of explosion of fuel storage facility.
- Participated in defense of an umbrella carrier in relation to coverage litigation related to a multi-million dollar class action lawsuit alleging violations of wiretapping statutes prohibiting the recording of telephone calls without disclosure.
