Overview
Eva Guevara Gutierrez practices civil defense in Nevada, handling a range of matters including construction defects and catastrophic injuries.
Before joining Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial, Eva earned her B.A. in Criminal Justice from Nevada State College and her J.D. from the William S. Boyd School of Law. During law school, Eva gained invaluable hands-on experience as a summer associate at Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial, where she worked closely with seasoned attorneys on complex civil defense matters. She also served as a staffer on the Nevada Law Journal, further honing her legal writing and analytical skills. She led the Spanish Family Forms Clinic where law students could earn pro bono credits and assist community members with their family law form needs. In recognition of her pro bono work she received the Legal Aid Center of Southern Nevada Public Interest Law Student Distinction of 2023 award, The Barbara Buckley Community Service Award, and graduated with Highest Pro Bono Honors.
Fluent in Spanish, Eva is an active volunteer in the Hispanic community, serving as a mentee in the Huellas Mentorship Program and an interpreter for the Spanish Family Forms Clinic, among other roles.
