Overview
Jennifer has represented businesses in wide-ranging types of disputes in both Federal and State courts nationwide, and in mediations and arbitrations.
The wide-ranging matters in controversy have included: complex class action disputes; healthcare, including interpretation of managed care agreement and provider disputes; business disputes, including fraud, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, matters involving privacy and cybersecurity, and unfair competition. She advises corporations as to compliant business practices to increase efficiency and avoid legal tangles, and as to litigation strategy.
Her cases have been all over the southeast – Georgia, Florida, Mississippi, Texas, as well as California, Minnesota, Indiana, Oregon.

Representative Experience
- Obtained dismissal of nationwide class action against defense contractor arising from an alleged data security incident alleging negligence, invasion of privacy, and other tort and contractual violations.
- Defended hospital in class action arising from alleged data breach incident impacting protected health information in custody and control of business associate.
- Defended Fortune 100 company in class action alleging that SMS/text marketing program violated Florida’s Telephone Solicitation Act.
- Represented numerous businesses in arbitration, litigation, and settlement negotiations with respect to claims that their website tracking technologies, including the use of third-party advertising cookies and pixels, violated the California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA).
- Represented data broker in lawsuit alleging that its collection and processing of covered personal data violated New Jersey’s Daniel’s Law.
- Represented logistics and storage business with respect to indemnification claims against third-party software provider following an alleged data security breach.
