Cecilia D. Orozco

Cecilia Orozco focuses her practice on complex and catastrophic commercial, product liability, premise liability, healthcare, and transportation matters. She is part of a team that serves and acts as national counsel and trial counsel for companies in the automotive and transportation markets.

Cecilia is dedicated to obtaining the best possible results for her clients and does so through careful analysis of the facts and applicable law. She strives to provide early trial exposure and settlement valuation in order to fully advise her clients and reach early sensible solutions. Cecilia is a passionate advocate, and she thrives in the courtroom. She has successfully tried multiple cases to verdict and secured several favorable orders both in state and federal courts, including critical discovery orders and summary judgment orders. Cecilia understands the importance of attention to detail and grasps the needs and sensitivities of each different client. Through her dedication and hard work, Cecilia has been identified by The Best Lawyers in America® as “Ones to Watch” in transportation law and commercial litigation for the past two years.  

Cecilia handles cases throughout the country and is admitted to practice law in Florida and Georgia. Originally from Cartagena, Colombia, Cecilia is fluent in Spanish and handles cases for various Spanish-speaking clients.

Prior to joining WWHGD, Cecilia was employed at a defense firm in South Florida where she focused her practice on automotive matters, transportation, commercial litigation, products liability, and medical malpractice. Cecilia earned a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in finance from Florida State University. She then received her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Florida State University College of Law where she placed on the Dean’s List each semester. During law school, Cecilia was an active member of the Student Bar Association and served as its President. During her tenure as President, the Association won the American Bar Association “SBA of the Year” Award. Her dedication to law and her skills is evident from having achieved one of the top five scores on the Florida Bar in July 2019.  After which she was invited by the Florida Bar to speak at the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeals Induction Ceremony in September of that year.

In her free time, Cecilia likes to travel, focus her competitive drive in rooting for the Seminoles, and spend time with family, friends, and her two rescue dogs.
