Overview
Hugo Diaz was born and raised in the Mexican border town of Matamoros, Tamaulipas. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Hugo regularly represents the interests of domestic and foreign clients in diverse areas of law. His areas of focus include insurance defense, MVA, trucking, premises liability, construction, catastrophic injuries, and real estate litigation.
Since being admitted to the Texas Bar in 2019, Hugo has been an active litigator in Texas courtrooms and has successfully represented his clients’ interests in a wide variety of practice areas. Before joining WWHGD, Hugo worked for a mid-sized insurance defense firm and boutique real estate litigation practice in Houston, Texas.
Hugo earned his bachelor's degree in Political Science & Government with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.
